Angle is a significant word in photography as it has a huge impact on the quality and meaning generated in photography. Similarly, in cinematography it is common to see different camera angles chosen by the director to express meaning in the shot; the same applies to photography. A portrait photo looking up or down at the subject can portray power or weakness. An architecture photo taken from the ground looking down a hall can create a completely different effect and atmosphere from a photo taken from a ‘birds-eye’ point of view of the hall.
